The thing that trips up most British shoppers on Victoria’s Secret UK is not the lingerie. It is the plumbing.
The site looks like the American one, uses the same range names and the same campaign photography, and then behaves like a British high street retailer — because underneath, that is exactly what it is. Knowing that explains the free returns, the Evri labels, the odd payment option you have never heard of, and one sizing quirk that sends a lot of bras straight back.
Quick answer: victoriassecret.co.uk is a joint venture majority-owned by Next, and Next runs the account, payments, fulfilment and data behind it. That gets you free next-day collection and free returns to any Victoria’s Secret store or to 500+ Next stores, £4.95 next-day home delivery, and a 28-day return window. The catch is sizing: the site shows UK sizes, but the garment that arrives is often labelled in US sizing, where a US DDD is a UK E. Bras run roughly £30 to £65, the multibuys are where the value sits, and there are no online exchanges at all.
Who actually runs victoriassecret.co.uk
Victoria’s Secret’s UK arm collapsed into administration in June 2020. In October that year Next took a 51% stake in a new joint venture covering the UK and Ireland, with Victoria’s Secret & Co holding the other 49%, and the online business was folded into that venture the following spring.
The help centre does not hide it. Its company details page states plainly that Victoria’s Secret is “powered by Next behind the scenes”, that Next handles your account, payment, order fulfilment and personal data, and it then lists Next’s head office at Desford Road, Enderby, Leicester, along with Next’s company registration number.
Three practical consequences follow from that one fact:
- Returns get very easy. Next has hundreds of shops and the joint venture borrows all of them.
- Delivery is Evri. Couriers, ParcelShops, lockers and the returns labels all run through Evri, with the same strengths and the same failure modes you will know from other Next orders.
- nextpay appears at checkout. If you already have a Next credit account, it is a payment method here. That surprises people who came for an American brand.
The physical estate reflects the same arrangement. The store locator lists 58 Victoria’s Secret locations across the UK and Ireland, and 32 of them are not standalone shops at all — they are Victoria’s Secret spaces sitting inside a Next store, which is why the address line so often reads “find us in Next”. Guildford and a standalone Oxford Street site are both flagged as opening in autumn 2026.
The sizing trap nobody warns you about
This is the single most useful thing on this page, so it goes near the top.
The UK site sells in UK sizes. Its own size guide, however, carries this line: “Our garments may be labelled with US sizing when you receive your item.” So you order a UK size, the parcel arrives, you read the label, the label says something else, and you assume the wrong item has been picked.
Usually it hasn’t. US and UK bra sizing is identical up to a D cup and identical on the band. Above D they diverge, and the one that catches everyone is the triple-D:
- US 34DD = UK 34DD. Same thing, no problem.
- US 34DDD = UK 34E. Different letter, same cup.
- Above that the American sizing keeps counting in a way the British system does not, so use the conversion table on the size guide rather than guessing.
The published range runs from a 30 band to a 44, and from AA to G cups, though no single style is made in all of it — check the size dropdown on the individual product page, not the category description. Knickers and clothing are straightforward UK sizing, XXS (4) through to XXL (24).
Two more fit notes worth having. The site’s own measuring method has you take the band snugly under the bust, round to the nearest even number, then subtract that from your bust measurement, counting one inch per cup. And bra fittings are free in store — you can book an appointment rather than turning up hopefully on a Saturday afternoon.
What it costs
There were 934 bras listed when we went through the catalogue, and the price architecture underneath them is simpler than that number suggests.
The entry point is around £30, which is where the Wear Everywhere push-ups and lightly-lined everyday styles sit. The core of the range — the Bombshell push-up that adds two cup sizes, the Dream Angels lace — clusters tightly at £46 to £50. Push the lace, the plunge or the decorative shine straps and you are at £56 to £65. Above that you are buying a set rather than a bra.
That is a mid-market position, not a budget one, and it is worth being clear-eyed about what the money buys: engineered shaping in the padded styles, and lace that is prettier than it strictly needs to be. It does not buy you the cup-size range or the fitting depth of a specialist. If you are a UK F cup or above, this is not the shop for you, whatever the conversion table says.
The outlet section is the honest bargain, sorted into under £15, under £25 and under £50 tiers. Stock there is end-of-line rather than made-for-outlet, so sizes go quickly and oddly.
Delivery: three options and a cut-off time that moves
All three delivery routes are next-day. There is no cheap slow option, which is unusual and, depending on your temperament, either convenient or mildly annoying.

Now the irritating part. The order cut-off is quoted in at least three different places and it is not the same number in each: the banner across the top of the site says 8pm for next-day home delivery, the delivery options article in the help centre says 11pm, and the separate store-delivery article says 6pm. They are probably describing different services, but nothing on the page tells you that.
Treat the time shown at checkout as the only one that counts, and do not cut it fine on a Friday.
One hard limit: you cannot order from the UK site for delivery overseas. Not to Spain, not to a hotel in Dubai, not at any price. Other countries have their own Victoria’s Secret sites and you generally have to be resident there to use them.
Returns: free in a shop, £2.50 by courier
You get 28 days from receipt, and items must be unused and in original condition. Buy in a Victoria’s Secret shop instead and the rules change: 30 days on full-price items with proof of purchase, but only 14 on sale items. Shop purchases also have to go back to a shop. The two channels do not cross over.
Returning an online order costs nothing if you can walk into a building:
- Any Victoria’s Secret or Next store — free. No label, no printing, no packaging. The assistant scans the items at the till, and somebody else can do it on your behalf.
- Evri courier collection from home — £2.50. Monday to Saturday, bookable up to a week ahead through your account or by phone.
- Evri ParcelShop or locker — £2.50. Over 8,500 drop-off points, open seven days.
The £2.50 is charged per collection, not per item, so three bras in one bag still cost £2.50. Even so, if there is a Next within a bus ride, use it — the store route is free and the refund lands sooner.
How much sooner is the part people miss. Pay by card, return to a shop, and the refund is quoted at five working days. Send the same parcel by courier and it becomes ten. PayPal is quickest either way, one day against six.
Two genuine limitations. There are no exchanges on online orders at all — if the 34C is wrong you return it and place a fresh order for the 34D, and if it has sold out in between, that is that. And for hygiene reasons cosmetics and grooming products, pierced jewellery and anything with a broken security seal cannot come back.
The ranges, decoded
Bras and knickers are the bulk of it, but the UK catalogue is wider than the brand’s reputation suggests: nightwear in cotton, modal and satin, a proper fragrance and body-care business, bags and makeup bags, loungewear, and VSX sportswear. PINK, the younger sub-brand, runs almost as a separate shop within the shop.
The range names are doing real work here, and they are not obvious from the outside.
- Body by Victoria — smoothing, seam-free, the everyday workhorse. If you want a bra that disappears under a t-shirt, start here rather than with the push-ups.
- Signature — the mid-price core range, and the most straightforwardly sensible thing on the site.
- Very Sexy — where the Bombshell push-up lives, including the “add two cups” styles the brand is famous for.
- Dream Angels — the decorative lace tier. Lovely, slightly more delicate, priced a few pounds above Signature.
- The T-Shirt and Wear Everywhere — plain, smooth, cheapest. Buy in threes.
- PINK — younger fit, brighter colours, lower prices, and its own body mists.
- VSX — sports bras and leggings, competing with the middle of the activewear market rather than the top.

The discount most people miss, and the ones that come round anyway
There is a 10% welcome discount, and a surprising number of shoppers never get it because of one detail: you must create a full account. Check out as a guest and it does not apply. It also only works on full-price items, so it will not stack on top of a multibuy or a sale line. Create the account first, then build the basket.
Beyond that, the site runs a rotating set of multibuy mechanics rather than sitewide percentage-off events. The recurring ones are two bras for £50, buy three knickers and get the fourth free, three for two across beauty, and mist-and-lotion bundles at two for £24 or three for £30. Exact offers change, but the shape of them does not, so if none is running on the thing you want, waiting a fortnight is usually rewarded. A sale aggregator is a reasonable way to keep an eye on it without signing up for more email.
Three things that do not work:
- No price matching or price adjustments. If you find the same bra cheaper in a department store, or it drops two days after you buy it, the answer is no.
- Victoria’s Secret gift cards cannot be redeemed online. They work in Victoria’s Secret and Next stores only. Be careful what you buy as a present, and check whether an e-gift card is the version you actually need.
- Angel Rewards is invite-only. The loyalty programme is being trialled with a selected group, entry is by email invitation, you must be 18 and UK-resident, and unsubscribing from marketing emails ends your membership. Tiers start at a single full-price transaction of £50 or more.
How much the reviews are worth
Not very much, at least not directly. The Trustpilot page for victoriassecret.co.uk carries a 3.0 score built on about 25 reviews, split almost entirely between five stars and one star, with no replies from the company. Two dozen reviews is not a sample. It is anecdote with a number attached.
The more useful proxy is the machinery underneath. Next’s own Trustpilot profile runs at roughly 4.3 from close to 300,000 reviews, with fast delivery and easy in-store returns the two things customers mention most often, and delivery communication the most common complaint. Since Next is the party picking, shipping and refunding your order, that is a far better guide to what the logistics will feel like.
So: judge the product by the brand, and judge the delivery and returns by Next. The gripes that do recur specifically about the Victoria’s Secret listing are still worth knowing — reviewers mention that the packaging is branded rather than discreet, and that online orders come without gift wrapping. If the parcel is meant to be a surprise for someone in the same house, that matters more than the star rating does.
