Douglas Poland Review (2026): How to Read douglas.pl Prices, Delivery and Returns

Disclosure: This is an independent guide based on Douglas’s own published policies and the prices on douglas.pl at the time of writing. We may earn a commission from some links on this site; it never changes what we recommend.

Douglas.pl is one of the main places to buy perfume and premium cosmetics online in Poland. It’s also one of the easiest places to misread a price. Every discounted product carries three numbers: a struck-through regular price, today’s price, and a small line underneath, “Najniższa cena z 30 dni przed obniżką”. That last one is the most useful number on the page, and most people skip it.

This guide explains how to read a douglas.pl price, then walks through delivery (InPost, Orlen, DHL or a store), the 30-day free returns, payment options and the Karta Douglas loyalty card. Prices are in złoty; we’ve added euro conversions where it helps, using the European Central Bank rate of about 4.38 zł to the euro.

Quick answer: Douglas.pl is the Polish webshop of the German beauty chain Douglas. Delivery is free from 199 zł (or with any Douglas Collection product); below that it’s 9.99 zł with Orlen Paczka, 12.99 zł to an InPost Paczkomat or 16.99 zł by DHL, and collection from a Douglas perfumery is free. Returns are free for 30 days, twice as long as Douglas gives in the Netherlands or Belgium. Before buying anything on offer, read the “lowest price in the 30 days before the reduction” line. In our check, 11 of 12 discounted products had been cheaper in the previous month than their current “sale” price. New Karta Douglas members get a 20% welcome code.

How to read a price on douglas.pl

douglas.pl search results for Dior Sauvage with regular price, sale price and 30-day lowest price

Since 2023, EU rules (the Omnibus Directive, applied in Poland from the start of that year) require shops that announce a price reduction to also show the lowest price the product sold for in the 30 days before the reduction. Douglas.pl shows it under every discounted product. Here’s how the three numbers fit together:

  • Cena regularna (struck through) is Douglas’s regular price for the item.
  • The bold price is what you pay today.
  • Najniższa cena z 30 dni przed obniżką is the lowest price it sold for in the 30 days before this markdown started.

If the last number is lower than today’s price, the product was cheaper sometime in the past month than it is “on sale” now. That turned out to be the normal case, not the exception:

Product Regular Today 30-day low
Dior Sauvage Extrait, 50 ml 830,00 zł 729,00 zł 622,50 zł
Dior Sauvage Elixir, 60 ml 825,00 zł 649,00 zł 589,00 zł
Dior Sauvage Parfum, 100 ml 820,00 zł 649,00 zł 595,00 zł
Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum, 60 ml 500,00 zł 386,50 zł 375,00 zł
Dior Sauvage Eau de Toilette, 60 ml 440,00 zł 345,00 zł 330,00 zł
Armani Sì Passione Eau de Parfum, 50 ml 599,00 zł 379,84 zł 339,00 zł
Armani Sì Eau de Parfum, 50 ml 599,00 zł 359,00 zł 359,00 zł
Hugo Boss Boss Bottled Eau de Toilette, 100 ml 510,00 zł 285,00 zł 271,99 zł
Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow serum, 50 ml 309,00 zł 231,75 zł 205,00 zł
Clinique Moisture Surge 100H, 75 ml 279,00 zł 179,87 zł 163,73 zł
Clinique Moisture Surge SPF 25, 50 ml 239,00 zł 179,25 zł 165,00 zł
Clinique Moisture Surge 100H, 50 ml 209,00 zł 122,49 zł 111,50 zł

The struck-through prices make every one of these look like a 12% to 44% saving. Against the 30-day low, only Armani Sì was actually at its best recent price. Sauvage Extrait was 106.50 zł (17%) dearer than it had been within the month, and the Clinique moisturisers were around 10% above their recent low.

That doesn’t mean the prices are bad. They’re still well under the regular price. It means douglas.pl prices move up and down a lot, and the “sale” you’re looking at may not be the low point. If the 30-day low is noticeably cheaper and you’re not in a hurry, it’s worth waiting for the next promotion. Douglas.pl runs them constantly: when we checked, a SUPER code was taking up to 20% off from 99 zł and up to 25% off selected categories from 299 zł, for logged-in customers only.

Some products show the 30-day line without any reduction. That just means the price hasn’t changed, and it’s normal for brands like Chanel and many Lancôme fragrances.

Is Douglas cheaper in Poland than in Western Europe?

Sometimes. We converted douglas.pl prices to euros and compared the same products, in the same size, on douglas.nl and douglas.be on the same day:

Product douglas.pl In euros douglas.nl
Armani Sì Eau de Parfum, 50 ml 359,00 zł €81.90 €90.35
Clinique Moisture Surge 100H, 75 ml 179,87 zł €41.03 €44.25
Dior Sauvage Eau de Toilette, 60 ml 345,00 zł €78.70 €78.99
Dior Sauvage Parfum, 100 ml 649,00 zł €148.06 €149.60
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette, 100 ml 719,00 zł €164.02 €148.00
Hugo Boss Boss Bottled Eau de Toilette, 100 ml 285,00 zł €65.02 €53.99
Lancôme Idôle Eau de Parfum, 100 ml 719,00 zł €164.02 €113.00
Lancôme La vie est belle Vanille Nude, 100 ml 749,00 zł €170.87 €113.10

Products that were on promotion in Poland, like Armani Sì, Clinique Moisture Surge and the Sauvage line, came out level or a little cheaper than in the Netherlands. Boss Bottled was the exception, about 20% dearer even on offer. Full-price brands came out noticeably dearer: Chanel about 11% more, and the Lancôme perfumes, which weren’t discounted in Poland but were in the Netherlands, around 45 to 50% more. Part of that is tax: Poland’s standard VAT rate is 23%, against 21% in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The practical takeaway for shoppers in Poland is simple. If something isn’t marked down on douglas.pl, it’s probably not a good time to buy it there. Wait for a promotion or a code.

Delivery: free from 199 zł

Delivery is free on orders of 199 zł or more, and the site says it’s also free if your basket includes a Douglas Collection product (that doesn’t apply to items shipped by Douglas partners). Below 199 zł, you pay:

Method Cost Good to know
Orlen Paczka 9,99 zł The cheapest option. More than 12,000 points: lockers, Orlen stations, shops and RUCH kiosks.
InPost Paczkomat 24/7 12,99 zł Usually 1 to 3 working days. You have 2 days to collect after the pick-up code arrives.
InPost courier 12,99 zł To your door.
DHL courier or DHL point 16,99 zł The default for orders containing partner products.
Douglas perfumery free Usually 1 to 3 working days; you have 5 days to collect and can pay in the shop. Not available for partner products.

Delivery times are counted from when your payment is booked, so a traditional bank transfer adds a day or two. Products from Douglas partners can take up to 6 working days. If you need something today, some perfumeries offer Click & Collect for selected products: order before 17:50 and it can be ready the same day. Orders with a free gift attached don’t qualify.

Returns: 30 days, free

This is where douglas.pl is more generous than its Western neighbours: you can return products free of charge within 30 days of receiving them (Douglas Netherlands and Belgium give 14). Register the return online first, either in “Moje zamówienia” if you have an account or through the link in your order confirmation if you checked out as a guest. Then:

  • InPost: fill in the form on szybkiezwroty.pl, write the code you receive by SMS on the box and drop it in any Paczkomat.
  • DHL: drop it at a DHL Parcel Shop, or book a courier to collect it from you.
  • Orlen Paczka orders go back through Orlen’s E-zwroty service.
  • A Douglas perfumery: bring the printed return form. Two exceptions: the Ptak Outlet store in Rzgów doesn’t take returns, and partner products can’t be returned in a shop.

Print, sign and include the return forms Douglas emails you, with a separate form for each partner’s products. If you paid by bank transfer, cash on delivery or in a shop, you’ll be asked for a bank account number for the refund; other payments are refunded the same way you paid. Refunds are due within 14 days of your withdrawal notice.

Paying

Douglas.pl takes fast online bank transfers through Przelewy24, Visa and Mastercard (charged only when the parcel ships), Klarna (pay later, typically within 30 days, or in 3 interest-free instalments), a traditional bank transfer (the parcel ships once the money arrives) and cash on delivery with the courier.

Karta Douglas: the loyalty card

Karta Douglas (the Douglas Beauty Card) is free, and the welcome offer is better than in the Netherlands or Belgium. Register and sign up for the newsletter and you get a 20% discount code, valid for 30 days. It’s single-use and excludes products marked “Oferta Specjalna” or SALE, gift cards, advent calendars, services and products shipped by partners.

What How it works
Earning 1 Beauty Point and 1 Status Point for every 2 zł spent, online (logged in) or in shops (show the card, the app barcode or give your phone number).
Status Beauty (0 to 299 Status Points), Gold (300 to 999) and Platinum (1,000+). Benefits grow with each level.
Spending points Turn Beauty Points into discount vouchers in the basket (“Wykorzystaj punkty z karty Douglas”) or in a shop.
Stacking Douglas says point vouchers can be combined with other promotions, so you can use them on top of a promo code.

In practice, Gold takes about 600 zł of spending and Platinum about 2,000 zł.

How we’d shop douglas.pl

  1. Register for Karta Douglas first and use the 20% welcome code on something that isn’t already on special offer.
  2. Read the 30-day line on every discount. If it’s well below today’s price, the product has been cheaper recently, and it probably will be again.
  3. Buy full-price brands during a code promotion, not at list price.
  4. Get to 199 zł, or add a Douglas Collection product, to skip delivery fees. Otherwise Orlen Paczka is cheapest at 9.99 zł.
  5. Use the 2 free samples to test a fragrance before buying the bottle, and use the 30-day return window if it doesn’t work out.
  6. Stack points on promotions. Point vouchers combine with other offers.

Frequently asked questions

What does “Najniższa cena z 30 dni przed obniżką” mean on Douglas?

It’s the lowest price the product sold for in the 30 days before the current reduction, which EU rules require shops to show. If it’s lower than today’s price, the product was cheaper recently than it is “on sale” now.

How much is delivery at Douglas Poland?

Free on orders of 199 zł or more, or with a Douglas Collection product in the basket. Otherwise it’s 9.99 zł with Orlen Paczka, 12.99 zł by InPost Paczkomat or courier, and 16.99 zł by DHL. Collection from a Douglas perfumery is free.

What is the Douglas.pl return policy?

Returns are free within 30 days of receiving your order. Register the return online, then send it by InPost or DHL, or take it to a Douglas perfumery with the printed form (except the Ptak Outlet store in Rzgów). Partner products can’t be returned in a shop.

Is Douglas cheaper in Poland than in the Netherlands?

It depends on the product. In our comparison, products on promotion in Poland, such as Armani Sì, Clinique Moisture Surge and Dior Sauvage, were level with or slightly cheaper than douglas.nl, but full-price brands like Chanel and some Lancôme perfumes were 10% to 50% more expensive in Poland.

How does Karta Douglas work?

You earn 1 Beauty Point and 1 Status Point for every 2 zł spent. Beauty Points become discount vouchers that can be combined with other promotions, and Status Points move you up to Gold at 300 and Platinum at 1,000. New members get a 20% welcome code for 30 days.

Can I pay cash on delivery at Douglas.pl?

Yes. Douglas.pl offers cash on delivery with the courier, as well as Przelewy24, Visa and Mastercard, Klarna and traditional bank transfer.

The short version

Douglas.pl has some of the best shopping terms in the Douglas network: 30-day free returns, cheap locker delivery and a 20% welcome code. The prices need more care. Read the 30-day line before you trust a “sale”, buy full-price brands during code promotions, and stack your Karta Douglas vouchers on top.
